Dine at SINN, Roll the Dice & You Could Dine for FREE!
Join SINN’s VIP Quest List and get a chance to roll the dice at the end of your meal for a surprise discount – up to 100% off your table’s bill!

The "what, when, and how"

Who Can Participate?

  • Anyone 18 or older with a valid SA ID.

  • Must be a registered SINN VIP Quest List member.

  • Must present your SINN VIP Digital Card when requesting the bill.

When Can You Play?

  • Lunch: Monday to Saturday, 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM (last roll at 5 PM)

  • Sunday Evenings: 5:00 PM – Close (last roll at closing)

The Dice Game & Discounts

For tables of 1–14 guests:

  • You roll 1 six-sided die.

  • If you roll a 3 → Your entire bill is FREE (excludes service).

  • Any other number → Get a 1% discount off the full bill.

For tables of 15+ guests:

  • You roll 2 six-sided dice.

  • If the sum is 10 (e.g. 4+6, 5+5, etc.) → Full bill is FREE (excludes service).

  • Any other sum → Get a 1% discount off the full bill.

The discount is applied immediately to your bill.
We still encourage guests to tip their server for great service.

How to Join the SINN VIP Quest List

  • It’s free to join just fill in bellow.

  • Sign up online via our website or scan the QR code at the restaurant.

  • You’ll receive a VIP Digital Card once approved (limited quantities may apply).

1. Promoter
This promotional competition is run by Achadinha Investment PTY LTD T/A SINN (2021/143972/07), a private company registered in South Africa.

2. Competition Name
“THE 3RD SINN” Promotional Competition.

3. Promotional Period
Valid during these dining hours only:

  • Lunch: Monday to Saturday, 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

  • Sunday Evenings: 5:00 PM – Close
    Last dice roll is at closing time. SINN may amend or extend the period with notice via website or in-store.

4. Eligibility & Participation

4.1 Who Can Enter:

  • Must be 18 or older, with valid SA ID.

  • Must be a citizen or permanent resident.

  • Must be a registered SINN VIP Quest List member.

4.2 How to Enter:

  • Present SINN VIP Digital Card at bill time.

  • Dine during promotional hours.

  • Pay a valid bill for food & drinks.

  • Agree to these Terms & Conditions.

4.3 About the SINN VIP Quest List:

  • Free to join via SINN website or in-restaurant.

  • VIP Cards subject to availability.

  • At least one valid VIP Card must be presented at the table to participate.

  • That cardholder is the designated dice roller.

4.4 Not Eligible:

  • SINN staff, suppliers, and immediate family.

DICE GAME & PRIZES

5. The Dice Game & Prizes

5.1 Tables of 1–14 Guests:

  • Roll 1 die

  • Roll a 3 = 100% off food & beverage bill (excluding service).

  • Any other number = 1% off bill.

5.2 Tables of 15+ Guests:

  • Roll 2 dice

  • Sum of 10 (e.g., 4+6, 5+5, 6+4) = 100% off (excluding service).

  • Other sums = 1% off bill.

5.3 Discount Terms:

  • Applied immediately to the current bill.

  • Service charge is excluded from discount.

  • Tips still encouraged for servers.

5.4 Prize Value:

  • Discount prize exceeds R1.00 threshold under the CPA.

  • Cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash.

6. Independent Oversight:

  • An independent auditor, accountant, or attorney will oversee:

    • Dice rolls

    • Prize allocation

    • Winner processes

  • Full records maintained per legal requirements.

7. General Rules & Legal Compliance

7.1 No Consideration Required:

  • No purchase needed to enter.

  • A meal is only needed to apply the discount.

7.2 Transparency:

  • Full Ts & Cs available:

    • To National Consumer Commission

    • To all participants via QR code and in-store

  • Stored for 3 years post-competition.

LEGAL NOTES & DATA PROTECTION

7.3 Marketing Disclosure Must State:

  • Steps to enter (join VIP, dine, roll).

  • Basis for prize (dice outcome).

  • Valid hours/dates.

  • Results shared immediately at table.

  • Where to get full Ts & Cs.

7.4 Limitation of Liability:

  • SINN not responsible for damages/loss unless due to gross negligence or unlawful conduct.

7.5 Fair Play:

  • SINN can deny entry or prize if unfair or dishonest conduct is suspected.

7.6 No Substitutions:

  • Prizes are final — no alternatives offered.

7.7 Use of Winner’s Image:

  • Winners may decline to be used in marketing without affecting prize.

  • Otherwise, by accepting the prize, they grant SINN non-exclusive rights to use name and likeness.

7.8 POPIA Compliance (Data Protection):

  • Personal data processed under Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

  • By entering, participants consent to SINN using data for this competition and future marketing unless opted out.

7.9 Force Majeure:

  • SINN may cancel, amend, or suspend the competition due to events beyond its control.

7.10 Governing Law:

  • Subject to South African law.

  • Disputes fall under South African court jurisdiction.
